light, water
dancing
for nobody’s pleasure but their own

delicacy

a sip
can bring sunshine,
simple beauty
in light & water

pleasure in
the smallest part,
each drop
appreciation

lightest taste
tip of tongue
opens the window,

now my mind
can breathe.

bell

rushingcrazybusyscramble
hurtleswoonalightconfuzzle
suddenly,
- clear-cut tone -
the world comes into focus.
a shift beneath the surface,
another tone -

a glass bell
at the centre of the storm

illusion

steam creates a mosaic
tessellated droplets,
I imagine them discussing topics
beyond my ability to imagine

another pour

illusion;
gold solution suspended, floating
I drink deep
and suspend my disbelief

frozen path

The pavement sparkles with broken glass,
the tiny jewels that Friday left behind
Stepping over a thousand winking lights,
I breathe mist before me
guiding my own way.

crisp collected coldness
barbaric comfort
harsh sweetness
helps me keep my speed,
the thought of home…

step lightly
my soles are thin.
Breathe out lightly
keep more within.
